Active Release Techniques (ART)

ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles.” This definition comes from: www.activerelease.com

Relaxation

This is exactly what is sounds like. A nice, easy relaxing massage. This will combine a number of different gliding stroke techniques to create a sense of reduced stress and well being.

Deep Tissue

His massage is designed to go beyond the superficial layer of muscle to release any spasm, tension, adhesions, scar tissue or contracture within the muscle belly. There is some amount of discomfort involved in the treatment protocol. The odds are that whatever issue is going on in a particular muscle, has been there for a while if you have not been receiving massage on a regular basis.

Sports Massage (Pre-event, Intra-Event, Post-Event, Maintenance)

This type of massage is designed for those people who fall into one of the following categories: Professional Athlete, Amateur Athlete and those who work out and/or play sports on a recreational basis but wish to improve their performance and quality of life. A number of different strokes and techniques will be applied in conjunction. Technique, pace and pressure will vary dependent upon a variety of circumstances. Call for Services Fee Schedule

I do travel for Professional Athletes and certain VIP clients. As well, all costs will be paid by the client, in addition to the cost of the Treatment package (i.e. flights, hotel, per diem etc). All travel decisions are made and negotiated on client-by-client basis.

**Active Release Techniques sessions vary dependant upon the number of muscles involved with the client’s symptom pattern and treatment protocols. Therefore, the cost of each session is assessed based on each client’s individual needs. That being said, treatments start at $40/session and go up from there.
